Appraiser's Office Annual Re-Inspection

The Ness County Appraiser's Office is mandated by K.S.A. 79-1476 to re-inspect all real property in Ness County every six years.  The purpose of this inspection is to verify that our data is current and represents the property accurately.  This year the Appraiser's office will be reviewing properties located in Brownell, commercial properties, and rural properties in the north part of the county.  They will be re-inspecting the exterior of the home along with any other structures located on the property.  If no one is home, the staff will proceed with collecting the exterior data and a door hanger/questionnaire will be left requesting the information about the home.
